July Service Projects
In response to the huge number of unaccompanied children who have sought refuge in the United States from Mexico and Central American countries, Catholic Charities of Fort Worth is organizing some support efforts. This is considered an "urgent humanitarian crisis," and we want to help. So this Sunday we will be collecting items to be given to the refugee children or to help CCFW continue their work. Just bring your items with you to church on Sunday.
Here are the items they need:
Bottled water
Canned foods
"Just add water" meals
Baby Wipes
Hygiene items
Sanitizer
Our other major service project is with Alliance for Children. For the month of July, we will be collecting school supplies for children and families living in Roanoke. The items will be donated to Alliance for Children, a non-profit organization that provides treatment and justice for victims of child abuse. Click here for a list of needed supplies.
