December 2016 - January 2017: The Plan
Here's everything you need to know about the end of December and the beginning of January at Collective Church-
Monday, December 19 - Women's Ministry Christmas Party!
There will be an ornament exchange with a $5 limit. You don't have to RSVP or anything, just show up! It starts at 6:30pm.
Wednesday, December 21 - Churchwide Business Meeting
At the end of every year, we hold a churchwide business meeting to review and discuss the church's financial records and to elect a new member to the church's board of directors. All church members may vote if in attendance. If you aren't a member of the church but would like to be, please reply to this email, and I will send you a membership form that you can fill out and bring with you to the meeting.
Saturday, December 24 - Christmas Eve Services
Our two identical Christmas Eve services will happen at 3:15pm & 4:30pm on Saturday afternoon. They will last about 45 minutes each. A large portion of the service will be led by our Children's Ministry, which is super fun. After the 4:30pm service, everybody is invited to join us at the home of Nate and Jackie Fritzel for a Christmas Eve party (the Fritzels' address will be printed on the Christmas Eve service bulletins).
Sunday, December 25 - NO SUNDAY SERVICES!
It's Christmas Day, so we will have no Sunday services!
Sunday, January 1, 2017 - 10:30 Service Only / No Children's Ministry
For New Year's Day, we're having a more stripped-down version of our normal church services. We will have some brunch food available before and after the service. Courtney Clark will preach, and all of our Children's Ministry classes will be closed. Thank you so much for your patience and understanding as we give our dedicated, hard-working teachers and volunteers two much-deserved weeks off!
Sunday, January 8, 2017 - Back to Life, Back to Reality
And here's where our odd journey through the holiday season comes to an end. On January 8, we will be back to our normal service times (9:00am & 10:30am) with a new sermon series called "Jonah the Very Worst Prophet."
And of course, there will be more things to be excited about in 2017, including our third annual anniversary dinner, more stuff from our Women's Ministry, our Children's Ministry, and so much more. I am so glad you are part of this church with us and that we are able to do all of the things we do.
